The Mulford School is a private preschool and kindergarten located on 15 picturesque acres in Centreville, Virginia. Our school offers a safe and secluded setting. The relaxed country atmosphere offers children the opportunity to experience the wonders of nature, including our own farm animals, such as our horses, dogs, and cats.
Our school is situated along Lee Highway, on the western edge of Centreville. The school offers a warm, comfortable setting with large, spacious rooms and age-appropriate toys, crafts, games and musical instruments. Each room has its own library with age-appropriate books. Our “Great Room” offers a stage for plays and shows and rooms of costumes. It’s perfect for rhythm band and parades. The wooden floor is designed for dance and exercise. We also have a private piano room for piano lessons.
Our playground offers children a great opportunity to develop their gross motor skills with tricycles, big wheels, see saws, swings, play houses, a play train, and a large sand area. We have grassy areas for playing ball, and hard surfaces for bike riding.
